ADBI remodeled our Kitchen and Master Bathroom within a 3 year time period.
Here's some highlights that I felt stood out in both of the design projects.
- The customer is always right. Andrew Gao always ensured that the workmanship and quality of the material meet our complete satisfaction throughout the entire design and build process. Some rework was required and these were always dealt on a friendly and prompt basis.
- Unlike my experience with a couple of other contractors that were asked to quote for both projects, I never felt pressured by ADBI to sign a final contract during the initial phase of our negotiations.
- ADBI is upfront with the County Building Inspections for all construction and design requiring inspections and approval. All plans were always properly submitted to the County prior to the work. Although this adds a little cost for the project, I felt in the end, all work was done properly and met required building code.
- The ADBI staff was always friendly and helpful with design and color coordination as well as selection of appliance and bath fixtures and accessories. I am extremely happy with the recommendation to go with TOTO Ultramax toilets! If you live in Santa Clara County, the Water District gives a $125 rebate on each of the 3 TOTOs that were installed. TOTO rocks!!
- Both the kitchen and Bathroom remodeling were completed within 1 to 2 weeks of the initial schedule estimates. Although we lived in Santa Clara County, ADB was masterful in scheduling work in a logistical manner to ensure on time completion.
- Our Kitchen was remodeled 3 years ago and it still has a look of newness with greatly improved design and functionality.
- Our Bathroom was remodeled last years; friends are surprised at the expanded functionality and lighting of the design often asking what we knocked out. The size of the BR is unchanged, but the lighting and placement of a larger shower and expanded counter and cabinet layout makes the room feels much larger. We are extremely please to refer friends and coworkers to ADB.

We had ADB remodel both our bathrooms. Andrew was great in helping us decide on the fixtures, counter tops and choosing the right colors for the tile and paint.We had made several minor changes that was outside the scope of the contract we signed. We were not charged for the changes we made which we greatly appreciated.The work crew was very neat and cleaned up any debris at the end of the day. We were kept informed of any delays and problems as the work progressed.We are very happy with the remodeled bathrooms and highly recommend ADB for any remodel work on your home.Very professional.

We have had two projects done by Andrew Gao and his organization and have been extremely pleased with both. The first one was remodeling of our kitchen. We actually reconfigured it by moving the refrigerator to the pantry location and building a new shallow pantry alone a wall in the breakfast nook. When we went through the process of selecting new cabinets, we liked one but it had a raised center panel which we didn't care for. Andrew called the manufacturer and asked if the cabinets could be made without the center panel. They said they could, so we have our own unique cabinets. The project also included the installation of hard wood floors in the kitchen, breakfast area, family room, dining room, entry way and hall to the bedrooms. The existing soffit was removed and new lighting was installed. Andrew was very helpful in the selection of the paint, sink fixtures (including our wet bar), knobs and handles. He established a schedule and his craftsmen held to it. It was a pleasure watching people who knew what they were doing.The next project was our master bedroom bathroom. We had a very large step-down bathtub/shower combination, which we were having trouble getting out of. Andrew suggested a large stall shower at floor level with a built in bench, pony wall, and glass wall/door. He also suggested using porcelain tile for the shower walls, floor and walk-in closet. We even put in a heated floor. Of course, we selected our unique cabinets in a different wood. Andrew shopped with us to select the marble for the counter-top and bench as he had done with the granite for the kitchen and wet-bar counters. They even installed the tile in our second bathroom and new high efficient toilets in both. Everything was done on time and schedule.We visited relatives in southern CA and took our 14 year old granddaughter with us. The subject of the remodeling came up and she said, "While I love Grandma and Grandpa's new kitchen, their new bathroom is awesome". Guess that says it all.

On Time and On Budget
We were looking for a company to remodel our master bath and interviewed several contractors. After the meetings we were left with an uneasy feeling and thought we would never meet a contractor with integrity and honesty. Andrew Gao of ADBI introduced himself to us at the Pleasanton H&G show. We were immediately struck by his professionalism and promise to "stay on budget".
ADBI has remodeled 2 bathrooms, installed hardwood floors and completed a kitchen project that added 154 sq ft to a kitchen we are VERY proud of. Each project was staffed by a crew that was always on time and always cleaned up prior to leaving. Contractor Gao was organized, professional and willing to make adjustments as needed, the goal of customer satisfaction always at the forefront.

ADB remodeled three bathrooms for us, installed new kitchen counters, put in new hardwood floor throughout the house, and painted inside and out. The price was very reasonable, and the work was very well done. We are delighted with the results. ADB was extremely considerate and flexible in working around our schedules, and providing quiet space for our pets. Andrew is great to work with, but there are some frustrations in communicating with the crew because of language barriers.
